Drama Club

3750 McDermott Road
(between Coit and Independence)
The royal ring is missing, and the queen won’t sleep until the royal detectives find it. You’ve never met a more eclectic and eccentric group — including Maximum Smarts and Agent 98 with their Umbrella of Silence; Wiley Jones and his bumbling assistant, Oliver; Ms. Scarlet (who carries a candlestick and lead pipe in her purse but is ironically “clue”-less!); Bob the Southern Sheriff with his invisible dog; Inspector Change with a proverb for every occasion; the Professor (who’s always right, of course); Nancy and Jamie (clever girl detectives); Kat, who’s afraid of germs and even her own shadow; two tedious note-taking detectives; and Gypsy Rose the Fortune Teller.
As they scour the Queendom in search of the royal ring, the chatty maids follow the harried queen around while the devious butler spouts suspiciously evil laughs every time a clue goes awry. In this fast-paced, madcap mystery, you’ll find delightful comedy for all ages in every quirky character... and a surprise ending that rings true!

PEACH offers a Christian Drama Club, which allows students leadership opportunities in the field of Theater including directing, stage management, back stage set development, acting, sound, and lighting.
This is a student led Drama Club for Middle, High, and College Students who are Members in good standing with PEACH. Siblings of the Drama Club students may be permitted to participate in the back stage, with props, and cast position based on needs of the Club at the discretion of the Drama Advisory Team.
The goal is to provide a supportive, Christ-Centered, Drama opportunity for Middle, High, & College students in a positive Homeschool environment.
We will alternate between a Musical & non Musical Play each year.
The students bring ideas to the club kick-off meeting for consideration. Each play synopsis is presented by the student and then evaluated as a group based on cost, costume requirements, set design, number of cast members required, and age appropriateness. Then an anonymous vote is cast and the play is picked.
We meet every other Friday from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Except for the month prior to the play, we will meet every Friday. For more information click HERE to email Ms. Kathy.
Additional information available to PEACH members on the PEACH Yahoo Site including: Calendar, Code of Conduct, FAQ’s, Key Position Descriptions and more!
