Resources
Having
a resource as huge as the Internet makes for a tough job when one
looks at developing and maintaining a list of significant resource
links. But here are some of the most useful and important ones.
If you have some resources that you think should be added, or you've
found some that are now "dead ends", please email us at
info@peachonline.org!
Our resources section
is divided up into several areas:
New
to Home Schooling provides information that would
be of interest to new home schoolers, home schoolers with young
children, including articles about getting started, determining
your child's learning styles, and an overview of teaching methods.
Texas
Law and Home Schooling provides information specific
to what home schoolers must do to be homeschooling in a legal way.
Support
Groups and Local Co-ops provide website links to
Texas support groups, National support groups, and local co-ops
and local support groups.
Extracurricular
Activities provides information about PE classes,
Home school sports, Music classes, and Science classes.
Other
Resources provides links to specific homeschooling
curricula that have been recommended by PEACH members, local home
school bookfairs, homeschool magazines, articles for more veteran
homeschoolers, and links to local businesses that support and encourage
homeschool educators.
PEACH Guest Speakers is a way for you to walk down the
halls of time and see what people and groups have come to speak
to PEACH.
Information
and links on the PEACH website does not necessarily indicate endorsement
by PEACH. Information is provided to PEACH members to assist
in home schooling their children. PEACH members are expected
to verify information and investigate for themselves whether information
from these links would be appropriate for their particular family
situation.
