PEACH Christian Drama Clubs

PEACH offers Christian Drama Clubs for ages 8 and up.

These clubs provide students opportunities to grow in theater while developing leadership skills in areas such as acting, stage management, choreography, backstage set development, sound, and lighting.

Our goal is to create a supportive, Christ-centered environment where students can grow in theater experience while building confidence, forming friendships, and strengthening connections within the homeschool community.

Students must be a current PEACH member in good standing and agree to the Drama Code of Conduct to participate.

Drama Club Schedule

1st, 3rd, & 5th Fridays

Improvisational Drama (Ages 10+) — 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM, late August through March
Spotlight (Ages 10+) — 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, late August through early May

2nd & 4th Fridays

Scene I Drama (Ages 8+) — 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM, late August through March
Scene II Drama (Ages 12+) — 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, late August through March

Spots are limited. It helps us plan if we know who may be interested in joining. There is no commitment required yet — simply let us know if you’re thinking about participating.

Remember, students must be a current PEACH member to participate in PEACH Drama Clubs.

Drama opportunities are available for students beginning at age 8 and continuing through college age.

Spotlight Drama

Shining God’s Light on the Stage

PEACH drama opportunities give students a place to grow in confidence, creativity, teamwork, and stage skills through fellowship, rehearsals, performances, and a whole lot of fun.

Spotlight

Ages: 10 & Up
Schedule: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Fridays, August through May
Cost: TBD

Students shine God’s light on the stage through cast fellowship, auditions, memorizing lines, blocking, and two spring performances — all with lots of laughter along the way.

Scene I Drama

Ages: 8 & Up
Schedule: 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM on 2nd and 4th Fridays, August through March
Cost: $15 per child for the year or $10 per semester

A scene-based group where students rehearse and perform new scenes from a variety of scripts while building stage skills. Students may also explore directing, writing, and other creative roles. Scenes may be presented at the PEACH November recital and a spring showcase.

Scene II Drama

Ages: 12 & Up
Schedule: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM on 2nd and 4th Fridays, late August through March
Cost: $15 per child for the year or $10 per semester

Scene II offers a similar scene-based format for older students. Participants rehearse and perform stand-alone scenes from public domain works or original scripts, with flexibility for dramatic, comedic, active, or skill-focused performances.

Improvisational Drama

Recommended Ages: 10 & Up
Schedule: 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM on 1st, 3rd, and 5th Fridays, late August through March
Cost: $15 per student

No scripts — just improv games and activities designed to help students think on their feet, listen well, build confidence, improve speaking skills, and have fun. Students may perform at the November recital and the spring showcase.

Important Notes

All minimum ages must be reached by October 1.

There is no maximum age, and students may join the group that best fits their ability and interests. For example, a 13-year-old may still choose Scene I if that is the best fit.
