PEACH Scholarship

Each year, PEACH awards a $500 college scholarship to an outstanding graduating senior member of PEACH.

Below is a brief overview of the application requirements, including clarification regarding the volunteer service requirement.

Eligibility Requirements

1. Original Transcript

  • Verifies good academic standing
  • Verifies completion of at least 30 semester hours
  • Verifies an overall GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • Students with less than a 3.0 GPA are not eligible

2. Verification by a Homeschool Parent

Refer to Section II on page 2.

  • Includes verification of official enrollment
  • Verifies 12 current semester hours or more

3. Service to PEACH

Applicants must demonstrate service to PEACH through volunteering, leadership, or other contributions.

Please note: Service with Trail Life or American Heritage Girls is not considered service for PEACH. We are looking for ways the student has served PEACH as an organization.

Examples include leading clubs, organizing field trips, volunteering at PEACH Graduation or Kickoff, or helping with setup and cleanup for PEACH meetings and events such as recital, chili cook-off, and game nights.

Beginning in 2024–2025, volunteer sign-in sheets will be available at events to assist with verification. However, students must still describe and document how they have served PEACH in the application. Simply writing “see sign-in sheets” is not sufficient.

4. Letter of Recommendation

One letter of recommendation from an adult non-relative is required. The letter should identify the candidate’s strengths and explain why the student should receive the award.

Student Narrative

On a separate sheet, applicants must respond to the following in 500 words minimum and 2,000 words maximum.

  1. Describe your relationship with the Lord.
  2. Describe your future aspirations and why you are pursuing them.
  3. Briefly describe your extracurricular activities over the last two years, including:
    • Volunteer involvement for PEACH
    • Volunteer, humanitarian, and extracurricular activities
    • How these activities relate to your future aspirations and objectives, such as work experience, school activities, or a call to ministry
  4. Describe why you believe you should be awarded this scholarship, such as career goals, financial need, or other relevant factors.
